Soupe de Tomate Basilic

Ingredients for 4

Olive oil


Black pepper

6 beautiful tomatoes

1 C. to s. tomato paste

2 shallots

2 garlic gloves

1 cup of water

Basil ( to your liking )



Wash the tomatoes. Remove the peduncle, and cut into quarters and put in a container. Add tomato paste, 1 cup of water, garlic, Shallots and 2 tbsp. to s. olive oil. Bring to boil, once the soup boils, add salt and pepper. Now count 10 minutes of cooking over medium heat, adding a little water if necessary. Just before mixing, add the basil leaves and serve immediately.
